Minister Carál Ní Chuilín has hosted a reception at Stormont to recognise the success of Cliftonville Football Club during the 2012/13 season.

After winning the League Cup in January, Cliftonville took the Premiership Title with games to spare. They came agonisingly close to a historic treble narrowly missing out to Glentoran in the Irish Cup final at the weekend.

Speaking at the reception, the Minister said: “We hear so often about winners that it’s easy to forget how elusive success actually is. It is built upon effort, dedication and hard work. It takes sustained excellence and the ability to perform at the highest level on a consistent basis.
