Community Festivals Fund

The main purpose of the Community Festivals Fund is to improve the capacity of community festivals and to make them more sustainable. It enables organisations not only to celebrate the cultural identity of their community, but also to strengthen community relations. It also encourages organisations to become more sustainable through sponsorship and help them become more commercial.

With effect from 1 April 2008 the Community Festival Fund is administered by local councils and for further detail organisers should contact the council in which their events are being held.
