Creative Industries Strategy

A workshop held on 2 May 2006 was the first step in the process of developing a new strategy for the creative industries. It provided the Department with an opportunity to:

  • Engage with representatives of the Creative Industries and public bodies to determine how close they felt Northern Ireland was to becoming a Creative Region
  • To consider support and other needs for the sector.

Comments and feedback from the attendees at the event will be used to inform the Inter-Departmental Creativity Group and future strategy for the sector. The Creative Industries Workshop Report PDF(pdf file size 98KB) is available here.Opens new window
