World Police and Fire Games 2013The World Police and Fire Games is a biennial international sporting event for police officers, fire fighters, customs and prison officers. The 2013 Games wil be held in Belfast from 1st to 10th August 2013. The Police Service of Northern Ireland, the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and the Northern Ireland Prison Service will host approximately 10,000 Law Enforcement Officers and Fire-fighters from around the world who will compete in a wide variety of sporting events. It is estimated that the Games will attract participants from 60 to 70 different countries from around the world, including representatives from North and South America, Australia, Africa, Asia and Europe attracting in the region of 25,000 people to Belfast.
