Ulster Scots Academy - Public Consultation DocumentThe Ulster-Scots Academy Implementation Group (USAIG) has prepared a Consultation Document, including Equality Impact Assessment, containing proposals for an Ulster-Scots Academy. The consultation document sets out proposals for the governance, staffing and location of an Ulster-Scots Academy along with a three year outline business programme. The USAIG is keen to hear the views of as many consultees as possible and to assist with the consultation process possible questions have been listed in the foreword to the consultation document; however the USAIG will welcome your comments on any aspect of the proposals. Questions are also included in the Equality Impact Assessment section of the document. The USAIG will welcome meetings with representative groups and other interested parties during the consultation period. However, the USAIG may bring individuals and organisations together for meetings to ensure that all interested parties are given the same opportunities. If you are interested in meeting with the USAIG please contact the Response Co-ordinator. The consultation period commenced on 2nd July 2007 and consultees’ responses should be received no later than 4.00 pm on Monday 24th September 2007. Public
