World Police and Fire Games 2013
The World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) is a biennial international sporting event for police officers, fire fighters, customs and prison officers. The 2013 Games were held in Belfast from 1st to 10th August 2013. The Police Service of Northern Ireland, the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and the Northern Ireland Prison Service hosted more than 7,000 competitors from 67 countries.
Representatives from North and South America, Australia, Africa, Asia and Europe competed in 56 sports at 41 venues across Belfast. The event also involved over 3,500 volunteers.
