A song from the rich Irish-language or Scottish Gaelic singing tradition is included in each class along with background information about the lyrics and meaning of the song.

‘Cúpla Focal’ is listened to by budding Irish speakers the world over with listeners tuning onto www.raidiofailte.com each week from California, Canada, New York, Texas, Britain and Australia. Foghlaim Le Chéile

In addition to Irish-English classes Raidió Fáilte also provides Irish-language classes for speakers of languages other than English in the series ‘Foghlaim le Chéile’

‘Foghlaim le Chéile’ (‘Learning Together’) consists of Irish lessons aimed at speakers of Polish, Spanish and French. It is broadcast three times weekly on Raidió Fáilte: Monday 9:30-10:00 pm; Saturday 2:30-3:00 pm; Monday 01:30-02:00 am.

The classes are presented by native speakers of Polish, French and Spanish together with a fluent speaker of the Ulster dialect of Irish.
